Psychoanalysts on film

Dear ISPS Colleagues,

I have attached a 14 page compilation of links to talks on psychoanalysis, neuropsychoanalysis, and psychoanalysis & psychosis. There are talks by Freud, Jung, Bion, Segal, Kohut, Bach, Bergman, Bromberg, etc., as well as talks sponsored by many psychoanalytic training institutes. There is a section on neuropsychoanalysis.  I thought the latter might be of interest with the upcoming talk by M. Solms. I also have a large section on talks on psychoanalysis & psychosis. It took me years to compile this list and I thought it might be of interest to members in this group.

Psychoanalyse

Een deel van de leden van ISPS internationaal en Lowlands zijn psychoanalisten of tonen een sterke interesse voor psychoanalyse.

De psychoanalytische benadering van psychose schenkt aandacht aan de onbewuste dynamieken van de psyche en haar onbewuste inhouden zoals ook onverwerkte ervaringen uit de kindertijd en trauma’s die deel uitmaken van de individuele-en familiegeschiedenis. De laatste decennia maakte de psychoanalyse een sterke ontwikkeling waardoor het zicht op psychose zich sterk verbreedt en differentieert.

In de loop de jaren ontwikkelde zich in de schoot van ISPS ook een subgroep van psychoanalisten die actief met elkaar via mailverkeer contact leggen en informatie uitwisselen over onderzoek, praktijkervaring, en studie materiaal zoals artikels en boeken. Wie interesse heeft en geen ervaring heeft met psychoanalyse is ook welkom.

Brian Martindale

Therefore some years ago Brian Martindale, after he stepped down as chair of ISPS having played a part in opening ISPS up, started a psychoanalytic sub group of ISPS.  So it is an email list for posting information and topics for discussion, it organises meetings at ISPS international conferences and supports members giving workshops and papers. Recently some small groups of members have started meeting to discuss clinical work on a regular basis.  A particular success has been monthly seminars with Françoise Davoine discussing the work of Jean-Max Gaudillière..

It  is open to any member of ISPS, however experienced or inexperienced in depth psychology of psychosis.
All is needed is to send an email to Brian  bm@bmakm.plus.com and he will add the person to the list.
