Too mad to be true II
De tweede editie van de internationale conferentie Too mad to be true op 27 en 28 mei was een groot succes.
Op de prachtige locatie van het museum Guislain in Gent kwamen ruim honderd mensen af: twee dagen lang werden zij geboeid door de vele uiteenlopende presentaties op het gebied van psychiatrie en filosofie, met het overlappende thema ‘The promises and perils of the first-person perspective‘. Ook waren er veel mensen die de conferentie online volgden. Meer informatie hierover is te lezen op onze website, zie hier.

Op 30 november 2021 werd in het UPC Kortenberg een boeiend symposium gegeven naar aanleiding van het verschijnen van twee boeken:
“Psychose bij jongeren. Helpen bij de zoektocht naar identiteit”
is van de hand van de psychologen Mariska Christianen, Freek Dhooghe en Jef Lisarde van het UPC KU Leuven, alle drie psychose-experts verbonden aan het mobiele zorgteam voor vroege interventie bij psychose VRINT. Meer info hier.

Het verhaal achter hoop en herstel is het nieuwste boek van klinisch psycholoog en psychoanalist Stijn van Heule.

Psychosenet Vlaanderen organiseerde 26-11-2021 een interessante avond over haar werking met de medewerking van o.m Dirk de Wachter en Stijn Vanheule.

Keynote speakers-online video’s van de Conferentie in Gent: “Too mad to be true” van september 2021
I am happy to inform you that meanwhile we have uploaded a considerable number of the presentations of last year in Ghent. The full list is found here.
Most of these presentations are now online accessible to everyone. When you ‘d prefer to have the video only accessible to the conference participants, let us know, and then we add a password to it. The password for the videos that are password protected is, and will remain: Gent2021.
To those who missed it, once again the call for papers following the conference:
We wanted to notify you about a special issue in Philosophical Psychology which will be dedicated to the subject(s) of our conference. The call for papers and the themes of the issue are now available online
This might be an opportunity for some of you to rework their presentations of the conference to a standalone paper. In any case, you are all warmly invited to do so and to submit your papers.
Deadline for the issue is June 2022 – all submissions will be subject to peer review and have to comply with the guidelines of Philosophical Psychology. Guest editors for the issue will be Jasper Feyaerts and Rob Sips; invited contributors include some of the keynotes of the conference.
